Okay. I’m having a bad day. Since last night, I knew there was something unsettling… I just know.
I woke up today and the weather was weird. It was cloudy, but it was good because it was not as hot as the previous months. I was late for work, which is okay, so I decided to pass by the nearby internet cafe before going to work.
Then came the bad news. Chris is out. I am having a bad week, I tell you. Just last Monday, James Blake lost in the first round of the Italian Masters. But it wasn’t such a shock as he wasn’t expected to last long there anyway as clay was not his forte.
Anyway after reading such news, I immediately hied off the my office next door. Of course, what was waiting for me was a lot of work! There… spread out on my big table. Hehehe.. I do have one of the biggest tables. I turned to Kai, and I told her.. “Uy out na si..” She had this incredulous look on her face.
I thought to myself, hmmm.. I need ice cream. Yes, happy food. I decided to head to the Rufino Building to get my fill of Fiorgelatto ice cream during lunch break. When I got there, guess what… the cafe had been closed and what was left were boards and panels and what looks like a demolition. Fiorgelatto has long gone. And I walked back to the office-defeated.. deflated. Hehehe..
And on my mind, the song kept playing “Coz you had a bad day..” as I was walking back.
The same song played in my mind as I walked from PB Com building to Greenbelt at 9pm, and the rain started to pour. Yes, the weather really is rubbing it all in. Oh well. I’m sure if that Taylor guy wins, he will have a lucrative career singing in Las Vegas Hotels. *Wink wink*
Bad day indeed. Now, I can spend Wednesday and Thursday nights doing overtime in the office. Like what I did tonight.
The top three sucks without Chris.
Now one obsession is done with, and now I can concentrate on my other obsession… yes, TENNIS!! Buwahaha!
Happy… uh weekend? Yeah… Oh yeah! I am gonna have a great weekend! *Wink wink*

MY week has just been saved. Hingis had a bad week last week, losing to Venus even if she was just two points shy of winning the match. Today though, she had a rematch against the beautiful Dementieva. In February, Dementieva crushed Hingis at the final of the Tokyo Open with the score 6-2,6-0. Hingis then exacted revenge on Dementieva today in Berlin with a 6-3,6-2 win on clay!!! Dementieva is ranked 8th in the world. Hingis is now the world no. 23, she started the year at no. 349. She’s going up up and UP! And guess where she’s going next…
Hingis and Sharapova may be heading (with a “70% chance”) to Manila on November. I’ll be there for sure! WAHOO! 😀 They will hold separate tennis clinics then participate in an exhibition match after.

hay nako… eto ka na naman… anyway, ang galing! it’s all over the news in the US, even Jay Leno was upset. i’m sure like what aimee said, he’s got a bright future ahead and hopefully not end up like the other losers… nor like the past winners.. heheh

i was watching entertainment tonight kanina lam niyo ba inoofferan si chris ng fuel to be there new front man. papa alan ano ba nangyari sa dati nilang vocalist? pano kaya pag si chris ang kumanta ng shimmer? ang sabi nya ayaw nya rush things. tama naman sya baka may mas malaking opportunity pa sya. oh dba taray na kagad ng lola natin pero at least may fallback na sya (vocalist lang naman ng fuel). grabe pala yung pag announce ni seacrest na si chris ang tanggal. he said something like “chris… many people are saying that you will be the next american idol (napangiti si chris)… tonight chris is going home (di mo maipinta yung mukha ni chris). kaya tinanong sa entertainment tonight kung masama loob nya kay seacrest. sabi nya di naman daw, seacrest was just doing his job but it was really gutwrenching sabi nya.

I think Chris will be better off going solo than helping pick up the career of a band that has seen better days. But that’s just me. And regardless of what he decides to do, am getting his album when it comes out.
